Romantic Circus World Unveiled in Newbie's Limited Edition "Vintage Circus" Collection

This September, Kappahl Group's brand Newbie will launch a limited edition collection that evokes the charm of ballerinas, sweet clowns, and an enchanting circus. The collection, named "Vintage Circus," is a tribute to a romantic and magical world, where every garment is designed to spark curiosity and imagination. The collection will be available exclusively online, starting from September 17th.

Maja Olsbo, Design Lead at Newbie, shares her thoughts on the inspiration and choice of materials for the collection:

"We wanted to create a collection that captures the nostalgic feeling of an old circus, with its beautiful costumes and dreamlike atmosphere. The choice of materials was crucial – we have used mesh, embroidery, lace, and ruffles. Some pieces feature beautiful floral prints, while others have playful designs such as small circus horses and circus tents, as well as knitted jacquards and soft checks, to give each garment a luxurious and romantic feel."

The collection features soft, dreamy colors like creamy white, dusty pink, gentle browns, and touches of gold in some of the details. The range includes everything from beautiful dresses, shirts, and vests to flouncy ballerina skirts and a charming, checkered suit. Matching accessories such as bows, ballet shoes, and socks, along with two coordinating dresses for women, are also part of this limited edition.

With every collection, Newbie aims to invite customers into its magical world—a place where every garment tells a story and where imagination and play can flourish. The "Vintage Circus" collection is no exception:

"We want to inspire people to mix and match within the collection. Why not pair our sweet little checkered blazer with the white fully embroidered dress? Or wear the shirt with tiny circus tents and a bow tie with our pink ballerina skirt? Beautiful yet playful," concludes Maja Olsbo.
